This Tuesday at our home was very cold and terribly rainy. While we stick pretty firmly to our Taco Tuesday routine, it just seemed like a soup was in order.
I had to break the news to my son that this Tuesday would not be Taco Tuesday. I asked if we could do Taco Wednesday. He said that absolutely would not work.
Tuesdays, Saturdays, and Thursdays are the best days for tacos, in that order. Alliteration is important. (Thursday is in there because although it does not have the hard “t” sound, it does still have a T.)
That got us thinking about how we could menu plan using alliteration.
Here’s what we came up with.
- Mushroom Monday
- Taco Tuesday
- Waffle Wednesday (savory or sweet – chef’s choice!)
- Three Thursday (three sisters pie, three bean salad)
- Frittata Friday
- Stew Saturday
- Salad Sunday
What alliterative cues would you use to plan your meal?
